    Hi

We are a Buddhist Centre in Auckland who have been wanting to put up a shade cloth in our courtyard for a few years now but it has always been put down the list due to other more important needs. Would you be willing to help us? The courtyard we have been wanting to upgrade for some time is not looking too good at present as a car crashed through the fence and into our building last weekend. Still, after we finish the repairs we would love to create a shady spot where children and adults can play and sit in the summer. Thanks.

Wai Grace, Have a look at my facebook page for colours of shade sail material. There are 11 all together https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.390233487705394.91231.389355374459872&type=3

provide me with a drawing of what you need and I will make the sail to your measurements. If it is over 10 sq metres then it will have a stainless steel cable in the hem. each corner will have stainless steel fittings and at least two stainless steel adjuster screws to tighten it. It is best to put the posts in after you receive the sail.

When you have given me a size- I can give you a price. The Canvas Doctor.

    Hi Canvasdoctor,

I would love to take you up on this offer... however, I just had a read of your below comment and it would seem that you are charging money for your services... I am new to asksharegive but I thought the idea was to ask, share or give... NOT charge... I am not trying to be disrespectful to you at all, I am just confused. If I have misunderstood and you are in fact offering free shade-sails then I would really love to talk to you. My sons primary is in need of additional sun protection for their kids and with summer just around the corner it would be really lovely to know the kids are safe from those nasty UV rays. I do not mind which colour, though royal blue or pine green would be ideal as these are the schools colours, and in regards to size the bigger the better. If you are willing to donate a sail then I will make it my personal mission to fund raise for the posts to attach it to.

    Thanks heaps for your consideration.

    Danielle.

Not sure if this site is still valid?

Bird Rescue in Green Bay (Auckland) have a carport frame (white, maybe PVC?, ABOUT 8m x 5m, paced out) that they want to turn into a bird shelter for ducks recovering from botulism.

The height is ABOUT 3-4m at the highest point, ABOUT 1.5m at the lowest (these measurements from memory).

Can you give a rough ball-park figure so I can pass it by them? (Obviously it will change if the measurements are too far out).

Not sure what colour, white would get too dirty, is there a price differential on colour?

    Cheers, Lesley Munro.
