We are on a low income working towards more sustainable living - we need top soil and compost to get our organic garden going. We want to lessen our impact on the environment by renewing our waste to create more energy, thus keeping it from the tip - in other words we want to live more sustainably within our means. One key to transforming our yard into a veggie garden is adding enough untreated topsoil and compost to support plant growth. Our landlord has generously bought us a worm composter to use and I am rapidly learning diy methods for permaculture, but we don't have the starting soil needed to build up a garden straight away. Due to health reasons we live on a low income so the idea of finding someone who has the soil on their property and can spare it really make good sense. We are also interested in any garden tools or veggie seedlings anyone can spare.
