Soap Making Lessons

Want to learn how to make soap? I can help.

Ever wanted to learn how to make soap, but didn't want to go it alone? I can show single people or small groups how.

You provide the oils and I'll supply the equipment and lye. I will give you advice on what materials to bring before you come.

Once you know the basics, you can make all sorts of soap to your liking with no nasty added chemicals.

I would love to learn this as commercial soap is so highly perfumed(YUCK) but I am so far away, is there another way?

You can read my how to article at http://frugalkiwi.co.nz/2009/10/lye-ability-making-castile-soap/ Many people have used that to make their first batch. Good luck!

Hi there, I'd love to learn how to make soap. When are you available, how does this thing work (new to this website and concept) and how long would I be spending time learning this (as I have 2 young ones I just have to coordinate time with you)

Thanks very much and look forward to hearing from you soon. Do I just hit 'response' if I'd like to be your 'student' for the day?

A couple of hours will be plenty of time for a lesson. Otherwise, it is just a matter of sorting out a time that works for both of us. I could probably do next week some time. Yes, on hitting "Response".
