Decorated cakes for charitable causes

I am a hobbyist cake decorator, keen to donate customised cakes for community groups and charitable causes in the Bay of Plenty.

Does your charity or community group have a milestone or success to celebrate or a sponsor or long serving volunteer to thank?

Maybe you're looking for something different to raffle?

Or perhaps you know a sick child who deserves a magical birthday cake?

Customised cakes take a bit of time and effort to make, and I fit these in amongst a fulltime job and other commitments, so please ask as early as possible (at least 3 weeks ahead would be great).

Cakes will only be donated to worthy causes, however I'm also willing to make cakes for personal/private special occasions (weddings, birthdays etc.) in return for re-imbursement for ingredients & a donation to a charity that reflects the labour that goes into making it.

    I am the publicist for Organic NZ. BOP Council in their latest policy document is advocating for a precautionary approach to GE and this is being contested by Federated Farmers and Scion. BOP is GE Free. Could you make us one of these cakes so I could fundraise on Trademe about our cause?

    Would love to help, depending on when you need it for.

    I have more cake requests than I can handle through Nov & early Dec, but could probably pull something off for you if it's a simple one or if it would still be useful to you a bit further out?

    You also need to know that I don't have a commercial kitchen so I'm not sure that you would be allowed to sell it on Trademe.
